Cristina’s restaurant was born from the desire to taste delicious home-made Salvador’s food with fresh quality ingredients and food made at the time.

Pupusas

Dish of a thick corn tortilla stuffed with a savory filling

Yuca and “Chicharrón”

Boiled pieces of yucca root mixed with raw cabbage and served with pork skin deep fried until it is crispy.

Nuégados of Plantain and Yucca

This traditional sweet plate consist in fried dumplings coated with a sweet sugar cane sauce usually eaten with coffee.

Plantain Empanadas

These are delicious it’s mashed sweet plantain, stuffed with a milk custard, and deep-fried then rolled in sugar.

Pastelitos de Carne

Crispy and delectable pastelitos de carne, or Salvadoran empanadas, filled with minced meat and vegetables.

Salvadorean Soup

Hearty Salvadorean soup made from cow’s feet, tripe, yuca, chayotes, and sweet corn.
